Controllable Pitch Propulsion Systems
Heimdal Propulsion Norway AS started its production of engines and
controllable pitch propellers in 1916. Today, 100 years later, the company is an established supplier of redution gears and controllable pitch propellers for small and medium sized vessels with an engine power of 3000 kW, and a propeller diameter of up to 3,8 meters.
Our main focus is to produce long-lasting propusion systems. This
means that we keep broad margins in all our designs. All our products have a robust design resulting in low noise and vibrations, and least possible need for maintenance.
Heimdal mainly works with proffessional vessels with high thrust requirements, for example fishing vessels, bulkers, tankers, tugs, work boats, ferries and small offshore vessels.
